Toxicity: Apparently toxic. Compounds are toxic; they are strong nerve and protoplasmic poisons; their action is similar to that of arsenic and lead compounds; thallium salts produce trichorrhea.
Summary: Not found free in Nature. Thallium is readily oxidized by air forming a gray coating of oxide.
