Toxicity: Metallic molybdenum is of low toxicity. The inhalation of molybdenum dust by animals did not produce toxicosis in them. Molybdenum trioxide and molybdates are toxic.
Summary: Not found free in nature. Molybdenum has a very high melting point. Used in ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
